I had a yummy lunch at the Lost Dog Alexandria. It was my first time here and it was great. I used to eat at the Falls Church location some 20 years ago for lunch often when I used to work in that area. This lost dog has the same extensive menu of unique and tasty subs among other things. I had the Bird sub and corn chowder soup, yum. I'll be back! Also, I sat at the bar and the service was good too.

Hadn't been to this place in years since I moved! I ordered Uber eats to be delivered to my hotel and boy was it EVEN BETTER than I remembered!!! My meal arrived hot, fresh and fast! I also got some dog collars with zesty horse radish that paired nicely! Sincerely, a life long customer!

Love the vibe!! Must love Dogs should be on their door!! The food was so good!! Everyone got something different: one pasta, two sandwiches and two pizzas. All was tasty and in good portion sizes. Our waiter was very attentive and the bartender came over to discuss the beers my husband got in his flight. This was our third time there and we will be going back.

Ended up here by accident because a place up the street, Bark Social, seemed overly officious. I completely understand why they would want all guests to ensure their dogs are fully vaccinated; however, it doesn't lend itself to spontaneity and when we showed up there we had no idea that my California friend's pooches needed their shot records and pre-registration. Like TSA PreCheck for dogs apparently. She was adamant that it's not a thing in California or in Atlanta. Well, welcome to Northern Virginia lol. Definitely needed to call in advance and pre-register. The topic wasn't up for further discussion from their side, even though we offered to sit in a corner away from everybody inside. Luckily Lost Dog allowed her ultra pampered pooches to sit outside on the patio in their stroller while we ate lunch and had a couple of beers. Dogs are only allowed on the patio here. No shot records required. I'm glad it was only three minutes up the street from where we were and the catastrophe of not having any place to dine was avoided. Service was expedient and the interiors were welcoming. I had a Reuben and she had some spinach artichoke dip. This place has like 50 something sandwiches on the menu - all dog names and dog related of course. The menu is very extensive + they have a socially conscious mission. I would come back. Parking in the area is rough. Almost as bad as DC street parking, so good luck with that part. I ended up parking illegally right out front on the corner because I got tired of riding around, Luckily we were in and out in around an hour - so no ticket. ;-)

I love this place! Great food, huge menu and very accommodating service. Prefer the patio to inside but either works. Also, as an animal lover, I love the cause that they're supporting.

This place is still awesome 5 years later. Great food, great menu, great beer. It survived COVID and is still as good as it was. This is a must do in Old Town.

Great convenient spot for lunch! Have over 50 sandwiches, salads, and pizzas. Honestly a hidden gem. And they have tons of gluten free options.

This is a cool, relaxing place to hang out with family and friends. It's down to earth with a wide selection of food, and for those that want suds, they have beer too. Parking is a challenge though so be prepared to drive around the block a few times. Service is very good as well, as you're made to feel welcome.

Some of the best service I've had in a long time. Our waiter was great and answered all our questions, and provided good attentive service despite the place being busy. Pizza was good if a bit pricey. Alas didn't have much in the way of hard cider.

I was pleasantly surprised by this cute little restaurant. It's in a great location with street parking. I ordered the Phoenix sandwich (garlic chicken on pita bread) with a side of chips, and a Pepsi. So good, so tender, and so flavorful! I also ordered a large pizza to go. The pizza was a bit pricey but totally worth it. The service was really nice and chill. No one hovered but they were available when needed. #Happy Eating #OrderPizza
